Lonely Beauty is an artwork inspired by one moment in my life.
A bright red rose stands out in a dark background, inspired by the dark backgrounds from dutch flower painting.
One day I bought a bunch of roses from different colours. Over the days they ended up dying and this one was the only one left in the vase, beautiful and majestic.
Roses and flowers in general are and will always be a source of inspiration for me.
